Setting up two-factor
Connect an authenticator, save the one-time recovery codes, trust or revoke a browser, and turn two-factor off safely.

Open Your profile and choose Set up two-factor. You may also reach the same screen from Settings. A passkey already counts as a second factor, but adding an authenticator gives you a second way in and creates recovery codes.
Press Set up two-factor, then scan the square code with Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy. If the camera cannot scan it, type the secret shown beside the code into the authenticator instead. Enter the current number under 6-digit code and press Verify & enable.
If the number is refused, the screen says That code didn't match — check your authenticator and try again. Wait for a fresh number and try it once. The clock-based number expires; the setup secret does not change while this setup is waiting.
Save the way back in
After verification, Torqix shows ten recovery codes under Save these recovery codes now. This is the only time the list is displayed. Store it away from the phone, then press I saved them. Each code works once in the same sign-in box that normally takes the six digits.
At sign-in, the option Don't ask for a code on this device for 30 days trusts that browser after the password and valid code are accepted. A trusted browser skips only the code; it still asks for the password. The Trusted devices card lists current browsers. Press Revoke to make one ask for a code again immediately.
Turning the authenticator off
Return to the two-factor screen, type an authenticator number in Current code, and press Turn off. Turning it off revokes every trusted device. If the number is missing or wrong, the screen says Turning 2FA off needs a current code from your authenticator. Nothing is changed.
