Stocking, quoting and selling tires
Put tires on the rack, find a size, quote three options, and sell tires from the rack onto a repair order with their DOT week on the line.

Open Tires. The tiles count tires on the rack — new and used — and, when your account shows shelf value, what the rack cost and what it sells for. The counts in the page header are items in the list below: one item can be four tires of the same size.
Put tires on the rack
Press + Add tire stock for new tires: the size can be typed however it came off the invoice (2254517, 225 45 17 and 225/45R17 are one size), and the stock lands on the parts shelf as well, so every tire that leaves is in the same stock ledger as every other part. Press + Rack a used tire for a takeoff worth keeping: its tread in thirty-seconds, where it is, and a price.
Type the DOT code off the sidewall. Every tire then says how old it is, because a new tire made six years ago is still six years old.
Find a size and quote it
Search by full size, by width and profile, or by wheel diameter alone. A full size you searched is filled into Quote tires, which builds a good-better-best text for the customer that stays a draft until somebody presses send.
Sell tires from the rack
Press the size in the list to open that tire, choose the repair order and how many, and press Put on repair order. The tires come off the rack — new stock through the stock ledger, a used takeoff by its own count, which leaves the list when it reaches zero — and land on the ticket as their own service. Leave Charge disposal for their old tires ticked to add the shop's disposal fee for the same number of tires.
The line on the ticket names the tire and its DOT week, and a used tire's tread as well, so the invoice says how old the tire was when it went on. A tire the page marks as too old is not blocked; the warning is shown before you sell it.
