Scheduling a customer message

Choose the words, one channel, and a future time in your shop's timezone; the conversation shows who scheduled it and lets a person cancel any time before it leaves.

Open the customer's conversation, write the complete message, choose Text or Email under Send later, choose the local date and time, then press Schedule. Scheduling is the confirmation: the row records who made that choice and when the message will leave.

The scheduled row stays above the conversation. Press Cancel scheduled message any time before it leaves. Cancel stays available while the dispatcher is working on the row: the dispatcher checks for a cancellation as the last thing it does before calling the provider, so a cancellation that lands first stops the send. Cancel disappears only once the row says Sent, Cancelled or Refused.

A send that is interrupted mid-flight is not lost and is never sent twice. If the interruption happened before the provider was called, the next run picks the message up and sends it once. If it happened after, the row says Refused with the reason that Torqix could not prove whether the provider accepted it, and it is not retried.

A scheduled message is one message to one customer; a campaign is a different door. Permission at scheduling time is not carried forward. Torqix checks the live phone consent or email suppression state when the message is due, then the ordinary send path checks again. If permission has gone, the row says Refused with the reason and is never retried.
