Add the shop’s physical work bays, order them across the board, set their bookable minutes, and take retired bays off new bookings without erasing history.

Open Settings > Bays. Each row is one physical work position. The list runs left to right in the same order the schedule picker uses.
After you add the first bay, a one-time note appears beside the Bay picker on the first scheduled appointment.
On the schedule, Group by Bay follows this left-to-right order and puts appointments without an active bay in No bay; each day's heading warns, without blocking the booking, when booked hours exceed the active bays' usable minutes for that day's opening hours.
This list is the shop's one bay roster. The number of active bays here is the booking capacity, the names here are the only bays the schedule picker offers, and they are the only bays your online booking page and the phone agent can keep for a customer — the bay named on a request card is one of these. Until you add the first bay, Torqix falls back to Schedule > Schedule settings and its plain Bay 1, Bay 2 labels.
Add and order bays
Step 1: Add the position
Enter its shop-facing name and bookable minutes, then press Add bay. New bays join the right side.
Step 2: Put it in board order
Use the left and right controls until the list matches the shop floor. The order is deliberate, not alphabetical.
Step 3: Keep its capacity honest
Bookable minutes are the amount of work the bay can accept in a normal day. They are whole minutes; 480 is eight hours.
Take a bay out of rotation
Press Deactivate to remove a bay from new schedule choices. Torqix does not delete it: appointments and repair orders that used the bay keep their history. Restore it when the position returns to service.
