Open Library. The folders gather the documents Torqix rendered, photos and files on records, and the files your shop brought in. The file list is newest first; choose a folder, search a name, or filter by kind, then choose a row to preview it.
The list shows fifty files at a time and says how many match what you asked for. Use Older files and Newer files under the list to move through them, or First page to come back to the top. Searching, choosing a folder or changing a filter starts again at the newest file. The counts beside the folders are the whole shop's and do not change while a filter is on.
Documents that appear by themselves
Estimate, invoice and receipt PDFs appear under Documents as soon as Torqix stores them. You do not upload a second copy. Each row keeps an Open the record link to the repair order, customer or vehicle it belongs to.
Bringing a file in
Step 1: Choose Add to library
Give the file the title somebody will search for.
Step 2: Choose its kind
Quote, tech sheet, how-to, reference or other keeps the folder useful.
Step 3: Tie it to a record when useful
A customer, vehicle or repair order makes the way back available from the viewer.
Step 4: Choose the file and submit
PDF, JPEG, PNG and WebP files up to 8 MB are accepted. HTML is accepted for a tech sheet or how-to.
Removing a file
Choose the file, then choose Remove from library. The control is replaced, in the panel itself, by a question naming the file and saying what is about to happen; Yes, remove it only exists inside that panel and Keep it backs out. The file leaves the explorer straight away, and the shop's name goes on a line in the audit trail saying who removed it and which file it was.
It does not go to Trash. The bin holds records, and a file is bytes rather than a record — so a removed file is not listed there and there is no screen anywhere that puts one back. The stored copy is kept for 30 days before the nightly clear-out destroys it, which is a delay rather than an undo: if you need one of those days, you need us.
