Signing invoices and inspections
When the shop requires it, a customer types their name on a portal invoice or completed inspection and the signed state becomes immutable evidence.

Open Settings > E-signatures and switch on Invoices or Inspections. Both start off for shops that have not chosen them. When a switch is on, the matching customer document in the portal asks for a typed name. When it is off, that document remains readable without a signature form.
Photographs on an estimate
When a technician photographs a yellow or red inspection finding and that finding becomes a job, the customer sees the photograph beside that job on the approval page. Its storage key, caption and media kind freeze with the estimate, so later inspection edits cannot substitute a different photograph. If the original photo is later removed or its key does not belong to this shop, the signed copy keeps its place and says the photograph is unavailable instead of showing an error or somebody else's evidence.
Signing an invoice
The customer opens the invoice from its approval link or digital glovebox. A non-void invoice shows Sign this invoice and Type your name to sign. They may also draw a mark, but the drawing remains optional. Pressing Sign invoice records the typed name, time, portal channel and a fingerprint of the frozen invoice snapshot.
Afterward the same document shows Invoice signed, the signer and the signed time in the shop's timezone. An expired estimate offer may still show its invoice because a receipt remains evidence; a revoked portal link remains closed because the shop deliberately withdrew it.
Signing a completed inspection
The customer opens a completed inspection in the digital glovebox. It shows Sign off this inspection and the same typed-name rule, then Sign inspection. The signed fingerprint covers the completed inspection's findings, notes and attached evidence in their recorded order; linking a finding to later work does not rewrite what the technician completed.
The customer copy changes to Inspection signed. The shop's inspection page also shows Signed by, the customer's name and the signed instant rendered in that shop's timezone. The timestamp remains UTC in the database; only its displayed clock changes.
One signature, on the copy they reviewed
Before inserting anything, Torqix checks that the document still matches the fingerprint sent with the form. If it changed after being shown, no signature or audit row lands and the customer is asked to reload and review the current copy. Two simultaneous presses are serialized so exactly one can create the authorization.
